Note: We are sorry that many of you aren't going to be able to get Steam right now, we are still trying to figure out how to get Steam in the Linux terminal so that many more of you can play desktop games. As of the Debian 12 linux terminal update the Steam installer can't gain superuser access so it just denines the install. Sorry for any inconvienences, we will try to overcome this issue as soon as possible. If you didn’t update the Linux terminal to Debian 12, follow this old guide. Old Steam Guide

Directions

Step 1: Press the search key❪the key with a magnifying glass❫ and type in ’’Steam’’.

Step 2: Click on, ’’Install Steam’’ and folow the directions in the pop-up.

Note: If you don’t see this option, your Chromebook is incompatable with Steam. Try following this guide if you still have Debian 11 for your Linux VM.

And that's Steam installed, now you just need games, so we recommend Combat Masters, and Muck.
